Super Long All Glass Elephant Necklace, Art Deco Era

This is a fabulous and early necklace made of all glass bead, each of which are hand knotted. The necklace is long and primarily cream colored with oddly colored green glass beads which are slightly fluorescent.

The necklace measures 48" in length and features cream colored molded elephants which so amazing detail. There are six elephants in all, two being large and four being slightly smaller. Art Deco elongated cream beads are carved and molded with a distinct deco design. It appears at one time brown enameling could have been present in the lines but it could also just need a cleaning!

The two sizes of the green colored round beads are just beautiful! They have deep lines carved in them and have been enameled white.

The necklace is in quite good condition for a necklace of this age. I do not see any chips in the glass. Each and every bead is made of glass on this piece.
