Antique Victorian Hunting Scene Button, Dogs with Deer

This is a spectacular single button dating to the Victorian era. The button is made of brass colored metal which is dimensional. The button measures 3/4" in diameter and is in VERY GOOD condition!

The scene on the button is disturbing if you are an animal lover who does not hunt deer. There are three dogs in all, one on the back of the deer, one biting his front leg, and the last standing in front. Vivid detailing shows even the trees in the background along with the large rack on the deer.

The button is quite remarkable. A fabulous find. Dates to the late 1800's.
