This is a wonderful antique dresser set made of sterling silver and marked as such on each individual brush. Four brushes in all, only one being the hand brush with a glorious handle. This set is very romantic in nature! Lots of floral and leaves everywhere, with scalloped edges and fine workmanship. The hand brush measures 8 1/4" long. The remaining brushes measure 7 1/4", 7", and 5 1/2". All feature the same repousse floral design. All need to be polished. Condition on the three other brushes are quite good. A bit of the catalain or celluloid is flaking from the outside edges upon close inspection. The hand brush has a few more issues, there are a few dents and dings that should be mentioned. All four pieces are marked STERLING along with a four digit number, 1026,1048,1048, 1045.
