We want you to feel the same warmth and caring as if you were in our home enjoying coffee and talking antiques!
This is an early four piece soup tureen which consists of a large tureen, lid, ladle and platter. This tureen is complete. The maker was Cmielow, which is the Cmielow Porcelain and Ceramic Factory of Poland which was in production between 1789 to 1930+. This looks as if it dates to the early part of the century.
The pattern is Bella Rose and this is a romantic floral pattern. The scalloped edges, the fine gold trim, the pink roses, all denote an exquisitely made piece. To find this in MINT condition was a true thrill. We do not believe this has ever been used. There are no chips, cracks, utensil marks, etc...
The platter measures 13" in diameter. The platter is marked on the underside with the C in a triangle and Cmielow and Made in Poland under that. The tureen measures 13 1/4" from handle to handle with the inside rim diameter being right around 8". The ladle is 12" long and has an extremely deep spoon. The lid measures 8" in diameter.
Again the condition is MINT!
