Gorgeous set of open sugar bowl and creamer in the blue chintz pattern made by Royal Winton Grimwades. The pair is in the ascot shape and uses blue lattice pattern for the background. Detailed pink, blue, and yellow flowers are present over the pattern. The set is in the ascot shape and measures 4" by 2 1/2" (creamer) and 2 1/4" by 3 1/8" (sugar bowl). Signed on the bottom with the 1934-1944 Royal Winton marking. VERY GOOD condition with no chips or cracks. Very fine crazing is present on the inside of the creamer and sugar bowl. Gold trim is still in FANTASTIC condition with no sign of wear.
