1948 Hummel "Home from Market" Perfect Mint Condition.

This 1948 Hummel is dated 1948 and in mint condition ,no chips fading etc.Light is reflecting off side of forehead,making it look lighter.The little boy is carrying a little pig in his basket.View all marks with early bee.All of the early Hummels are moving up in the collectible category over the newer Hummels.This particular Hummel is not one seen very often for sale, especially in mint condition.How can we not love these beautiful pieces of art figurines.They are so cute and so finely made and know they will continue to be collected and increase in value over the years as they are rediscovered by a new generation of Hummel collectors.This 1948 Hummel is way below book value.The tiny light spot near the side of his head is a reflection only. As stated this figurine is in Mint condition.
