Porcelain : Collector Plate/Open Lattice/Lace

 

This collectors plate is called Dresden Flowers and marked Schumann Chateau Germany.Below that is Golden Crown E&R 1886 #21. The flower around the lattice are all hand painted with gold gilt design running above and between the flowers. The plate has a perfect heavy gold gilt scalloped edge.The center has a roses etc. in beautiful shades of yellow ,rose, purples , blue and orange.Plate measures 8 1/2".Condition is excellent ,no chips ,cracks. There is a tiny spot under the glaze that has a rainbow right below the tiny yellow flower on right hand side.You can only see it when the plate is tipped just right and as stated ,under the glaze.This plate is beautiful in color ,shape and the most difficult lattice or open work which must be done when porcelain is still wet and not yet fired.
