Vintage 40's Van Dell Necklace &Earring Set 1/20 12kt GF

Beautiful early Van Dell set in amethyst and crystal rhinestones. All stones are in excellent condition and all prong set. The pendant has gold filled leaves and a flower at the top with a large crystal rhinestone at the center and 7 smaller amethyst stones. The stem and leaves below are set with four more crystal and amethyst stones.The design is also triangular and incorporates Art Deco in form , combined with the flowing curves of Art Nouveau.The pendant measures 2 1/8" long by 1 1/8" wide at the middle. The earrings measure 1 1/8" long and are screw backs.This early set is in excellent condition and just needs a little polishing, which I will do before shipping. The gold has taken on a darker patina from age and will brighten right up.Just didn't get time to do it yet since wanted to get it in.Both pieces are marked Van Dell 1/20 12kt GF.
