This beautiful vintage figure is glazed in mottled blues and creams and unglazed tan. These pieces are referred to as Mud figures due to the face etc are unglazed compared to the rich glazes on the rest of the figures. This figure is in mint condition and is signed by maker and stamped China. He measures 5 1/4" tall by approx 3 1/2"wide. He is holding a bamboo fishing pole with dangling fish. Along his side he's holding his hat and a small pot sits at his feet.

Very ornate Victorian decorations with pat'd on collar or shirt etc. clip.The wax seal was used as a stamp to seal envelopes with senders initials ,family crest etc. The receiving party was assured that envelope was not opened and who the sender might be.Most letters were hand delivered back then. The fob hangs from a gold tone mesh weave with a slide so they can be separated. The whole fob measures 4 1/2" . The seal measures 5/8" wide by 3/4" high.
