Faceted Shell Pearl Disco Balls with Sterling Silver Twists Necklace and Earrings Set

These shiny white faceted Shell Pearls remind me of the Disco Balls of the 60s, great for any occasion and certainly for the holiday parties. The beads are so spectacular that I have only used shiny sterling silver twisted/wavy links to highlight each bead. A pair of matching earrings completes the set. Made to boogie the night away!

Shell Pearls are synthetic or man-made to look and feel like real South Sea Pearls. They are also known as Majorca Pearls. The core of the pearl is of the shell or 'Mother of Pearl' of the south sea oyster. This core is shaped to the required size. To this core is applied and re-applied a mixture of powdered shell, fish scales and oils to create the much sought after pearly luster. After heat treatment and coloring the results are simulated pearls that are more durable, more uniform and much more affordable than the real South Sea Pearl.

Length: 16 inches can be extended to 19 inches.

Beading Wire: 0.15"/49 strand clear-coated stainless steel professional quality beading wire with sterling silver crimps, crimp covers and wire guards.

Bead size: 12 mm faceted shell pearls; 2.5 mm sterling silver rounds.

Clasp: Extension chain and trigger clasp of sterling silver.

Earrings: 1 and 5/8th inches long, on lever backs. All metal components are of sterling silver.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
