November 2009, I celebrate my fifth anniversary at Ruby Lane. A big THANK YOU to all my clients.
Turquoise is associated with gods and goddesses of many ancient cultures from China, the Middle East, and the Americas. It was worn by Pharoahs and Aztec Kings. Native Americans used the stone symbolizing the sea and sky coming together, to bless warriors and hunters. Turquoise is thought to attract prosperity and success, enhance creativity and communication. Turquoise is the alternate birthstone for December. Almost all turquoise mined and sold for the purposes of jewelry making has been treated with a transparent resin in order to stabilize it. Stabilization enhances and preserves the natural color of the Turquoise and also makes it more durable.
