Frog on Flower Necklace in Silk Ribbons

This lampwork pendant of an adorable yellow and black little tree frog firmly hanging to a bright red flower made by Jonathan Baker of JB Glass Designs caught my eye and it turned into this unique necklace in silk ribbons. I have used yellow and red silk ribbons to complement the colors of the pendant,10 strands in all. The ribbons hold the pendant and also 15 rondelles of green garnets on either side of the pendant. A splash of color in the green forest....

Length: 20 inches.

Bead size: 29 x 41 mm (1 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches) pendant; 5 x 8 mm rondelles.

Clasp: Vermeil chain and hook clasp. Vermeil is sterling silver heavily electroplated with 22K gold.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
