This necklace of delicate rings of blue and yellow Sapphire is guaranteed to make heads turn. The blue and yellow Sapphire rondelles are highlighted at intervals by Vermeil spacers to create this unique and exclusive necklace. A pair of matching earrings completes the set.

Sapphires are the non-red gem variety of the mineral Corundum, the red variety is Ruby. Corundum is pure colorless Aluminum Oxide, but trace amount of other elements such as Iron (yellow), Titanium (blue) and Chromium give the mineral its much sought after colors. Sapphires can range in color from white (colorless) to gray and black, with blue being best known. Sapphires are the birthstone for the month of September and are the anniversary stone for the 5th and 45th wedding anniversary. Folklore and natural healers consider Sapphires to be anti-depressants, promoting inner peace and spiritual awakening.

14K Gold-Filled (14K GF) beads are made by bonding a layer of 14K gold with high pressure and heat to base metal and then shaped as desired. Industry standard requires that the quantity of gold be at least 1/20th of the total weight and the Karat measurement must be marked.

Vermeil is sterling silver heavily electroplated with 22K gold.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
