The vibrant and warm colors of Autumn are mirrored in this wonderful necklace made from faceted round coins of Mookaite (Moukaite), multi colored jewel-tone cultured freshwater Pearls and light Topaz colored Swarovski bicone crystals with an AB finish. Mookaite very aptly is also known as 'Sunset Jasper', because of the variety of warm colors found in the gemstone. This necklace is perfect for turtle-necks and sweaters. A pair of dangling matching earrings completes the set.

Jaspers have been used as ornamental and gemstones from ancient times. They are microcrystalline Quartz in association with a variety of other minerals which give the Jaspers colorful patterns and bands. Jaspers are often named according to its color or patterns. Mookaite Jasper is found in Australia and the different combinations of clay and iron oxide gives it a wide range of colors, from white to mustard yellow to brick red and mauve.

AB finish or Aurora Borealis finish: is the name given to the coating applied to crystal or glass beads to produce an iridescent effect. It is named for the Northern Lights and was invented by Swarovski Company.

14K Gold-Filled (14K GF) beads are made by bonding a layer of 14K gold with high pressure and heat to base metal and then shaped as desired. Industry standard requires that the quantity of gold be at least 1/20th of the total weight and the Karat measurement must be marked.

Length: Opera length of 28 inches.

Beading Wire: 0.14"/49 strand clear-coated stainless steel professional quality beading wire with 14K gold-filled crimp and crimp cover.

Bead size: 10 mm coins; 5 to 6 mm potato Pearls; 4 mm Swarovski crystals, and seed beads.

Clasp: There is no clasp, designed to wear over the head.

Earrings: 2 and 2/8th inches from your piercing, on 14K GF kidney ear wires, all other metal components are also 14K GF.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
