Two majestic cats sitting under the moon! The cats are made in the US from lead-free Pewter and electro-plated with 22K gold. The golden moon is a faceted Moonstone with shades of peach and grey. A fun pair of earrings for the cat lover.

Moonstone comes in a variety of colors, ranging from colorless to gray, brown, yellow, pink and peach. The clarity can also range from transparent to translucent. It is used in India to foretell the future and is given to newly weds to help forecast their future together. Moonstone is also thought to help cope with stress by calming the mind and soothing the spirit. It is considered so effective that the gemstone is ground and used by ayurvedic doctors to cure anxiety. The gemstone is found in India, Sri Lanka and Burma. In the USA it is found in Virginia and Pennsylvania.

14K Gold-Filled (14K GF) beads are made by bonding a layer of 14K gold with high pressure and heat to base metal and then shaped as desired. Industry standard requires that the quantity of gold be at least 1/20th of the total weight and the Karat measurement must be marked.
