Spring Bracelet with Carnelian, Nephrite and Sterling Silver

This bracelet is formed of six smooth yet rugged free-form nuggets of brown Carnelian separated by tiny granular beaded silver spacers, bordered by two ornate pyramidal shaped silver beads, which make way for round green Nephrite beads. The form and colors of this bracelet signify the new growth of Spring.

Carnelian is associated with the heart and emotional warmth, considered by some to promote courage, confidence and self-motivation. It is the alternate birthstone for July. In Arabic and Oriental cultures it was thought to protect the wearer from the 'evil eye' of envious persons.

Nephrite is one of the two minerals in the Jade family. It is very durable and ranges in color from white to green. It has been used since ancient times, particularly in China for making tools, decorative carvings and jewelry.

Length: 7.5 inches. Guide to sizing Bracelets: Using a measuring tape, measure snugly (not too tight) around the wrist just below the wrist bone. Add 3/4 to 1 inch to above measurement to determine the bracelet length. This is the length given above.

Beading Wire: 0.18"/49 strand clear-coated stainless steel professional quality beading wire with sterling silver crimps, and crimp covers.

Bead size: Nephrite 12 mm (almost 1/2 inch) round; Carnelian about 14 mm (slightly more than 1/2 inch) round.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
