AAA grade spectacular royal blue Lapis Lazuli coin beads are paired with a waffle-textured puffy coins to create this dramatic pair of earrings. Very lovely!

Lapis Lazuli gets its name from the Latin and Persian (Iranian) words for ‘blue stone’. The color of this gemstone ranges from light blue to deep royal blue. The darker the blue the more valuable the gemstone. It is characterized by glittering specks of golden pyrite. This stone was associated by ancient Egyptians with deity and royalty, and also motherhood. It is thought to bring peace and cure depression. The best quality Lapis lazuli comes from Afghanistan, where it has been mined for centuries. It is also found in Russia and Colorado, USA.

Length: 2 and 2/8th inches.

Bead size: 14 mm LL coins; 12 mm waffle coin.

Earrings: Lever backs and all other metal components are of sterling silver.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
