These hand cut faceted graduated rondelles of red Rubies (14 grams in all) needed nothing else to enhance their beauty. Each bead is hand cut and therefore not entirely uniform, adding to its uniqueness. The necklace is closed with a small trigger clasp so as to not distract from the main attraction - the red, red rubies.

Rubies are the second hardest minerals on earth and come from all over the world, with South West Asia producing some of the world’s best rubies. The name comes from the Latin word meaning red. Rubies can vary in color from pink to ‘pigeon blood’ red. It is the gemstone associated with the month of July and the stone for the 40th wedding anniversary.

14K Gold-Filled beads are made by bonding a layer of 14K gold with high pressure and heat to base metal and then shaped as desired. Industry standard requires that the quantity of gold be at least 1/20th of the total weight and the Karat measurement must be marked.

Length: 15 inches can be 16.5 inches.

Beading Wire: 0.14"/49 strand clear-coated stainless steel professional quality beading wire with 14K gold-filled crimps and crimp covers.

Bead size: varies from 2 x 3 mm to 3 x 5 mm in the center.

Clasp: 14K gold-filled trigger clasp and extension chain.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
