A pair of Rhyolite or Rain Forest Jasper Coins, a pair of carved Carnelian flowers and four Swarovski crystal buds all come together to form each unique earring that is a striking combination of color, shape and motion. A delightful pair of earrings for your summer wardrobe. The gemstones are individually wire-wrapped in 14K gold-filled wire, with 14k gold-filled round beads and vermeil spacers used on the crystal buds.

Jaspers have been used as ornamental and gemstones from ancient times. They are microcrystalline Quartz in association with a variety of other minerals which give the Jaspers colorful patterns and bands. Jaspers are often named according to its color or patterns. Rain Forest Jasper is so called because of the combination of green, brown, and red colors, reminding one of the rain forest. It is believed by natural healers to encourage change and creativity.

Carnelian is associated with the heart and emotional warmth, considered by some to promote courage, confidence and self-motivation. It is the alternate birthstone for July. In Arabic and Oriental cultures it was thought to protect the wearer from the 'evil eye' of envious persons.

14K Gold-Filled beads are made by bonding a layer of 14K gold with high pressure and heat to base metal and then shaped as desired. Industry standard requires that the quantity of gold be at least 1/20th of the total weight and the Karat measurement must be marked.

Vermeil is sterling silver heavily electroplated with 22K gold.

Length: slightly shorter than 2.5 inches.

Bead size: 12 mm coins; 7 mm carved flowers; 4mm bicone crystals.

Earrings: 14 K gold-filled lever-backs that are interchangeable, i.e. the earrings are removable.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairspray, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
