Stunning, Beautiful, Striking are some of the words I have heard used to describe this necklace. The silver starfish, the centerpiece of this necklace, is hand-made from Hill Tribe silver (see below). Every bead made by them is unique as it is handcrafted. The starfish is strung on a strand of sea blue natural Turquoise heishe beads.

Turquoise is associated with gods and goddesses of many ancient cultures from China, the Middle East, and the Americas. It was worn by Pharoahs and Aztec Kings. Native Americans used the stone symbolizing the sea and sky coming together, to bless warriors and hunters. Turquoise is thought to attract prosperity and success, enhance creativity and communication. Turquoise is the alternate birthstone for December.

Hill Tribe silver beads are distinctive and hand-made by artisans of the mountain regions Northern Thailand using methods passed down through the centuries. They are made from almost pure silver (0.999) and contain more silver than sterling silver, which contains 0.925 silver.

Bead size:2 x 6 mm Turquoise heishe rondelles and 2mm Hill Tribe silver spacer beads.

Clasp: Round flattened hand-made of Hill Tribe silver.

Earrings: none. Can be custom ordered and priced separately.

Care: Clean with soft fabric, or non-abrasive polishing cloth. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, hairsprays, and deodorants. Jewelry should be worn after application of cosmetics. Store wrapped in soft fabric or sealed in plastic bag.
