I began designing and handcrafting jewelry using semiprecious gemstones and freshwater pearls as a hobby. The overwhelming response from my family and friends persuaded me to start a home-based business. My friends tell me that my jewelry makes a beautiful addition to their wardrobe. The success I have enjoyed has encouraged me to continue to explore the world of jewelry design and crafting. My day job is at a Tampa, Florida bank, my other job is as a home-maker with Michael, my husband and our two Boxers, Mindy and Roxy. All the photography of my jewelry is done by Michael.

The beauty and wonderful variety of nature's gemstones fascinates me and inspires me to design and create my jewelry. The simple and elegant beauty found in pearls presents endless design possibilities as well. I use only 0.925 silver or sterling silver and gold-filled findings to complete my jewelry. Copper has been wonderful to work with and I find myself using it more and more. Genuine Austrian Swarovski crystals are also included to add sparkle to my creations. I use only professional quality stainless steel coated beading wire for my jewelry.

The folk-lore, legends, and healing qualities attributed to the various semiprecious gemstones and pearls also add an interesting dimension to my jewelry designs.
