Beautiful Jean Pouyat Limoges cobalt blue and gold demitasse, with an etched gold encrusted and scalloped border, gilded rims and handle, and a lovely gold design along the edge inside the cup.

The set has both Pouyat Limoges Mark 5a under glaze white ware mark, and Mark 6 over glaze decorating mark (circa 1890, probably used for a short period).

The cup is 2 ¼ inches tall, and 2 ¾ inches in diameter across the top, including the handle; the saucer is 4 ¾ inches in diameter.

Condition is very good.
