Beautiful set of four 9 ¼ inch Doulton Burslem plates in pastel shades of yellow, blue and ivory / blush, each featuring different hand painted flowers and greenery outlined in raised gold. The scalloped edges have been embellished with sponged gold and gilding.

The plates bear the Doulton Burslem mark, used from 1886-91- as well as artist initials, and pattern & code numbers “A258Y”. This mark indicates the pattern was introduced circa 1881-92.

Condition is very good, with slight wear to the gold. Light crazing, commensurate with age.
