Beautiful mid-19th century Francis Morley & Co. blue transfer ware ironstone soup dish in our favorite Zamara pattern, with Moorish undertones, overlaid with red, yellow and green enameling, and a snowflake/medallion in the center. Here are five beautiful blue & white-rimmed soup plates featuring an Oriental style floral and bird design, an Ashworth continuation of the earlier Mason’s “Blue Pheasants” pattern. The plates bear G.L. Ashworth & Bros. mark introduced circa 1880’s, with the word “England” indicating a post 1891 date of manufacture. Measurements are: 9 ½ inches in diameter; and 1 ¼ inches tall. Condition is very good with very faint signs of use, and slight fuzziness in some areas on one or two plates.

Beautiful paneled mulberry / black transfer ware handle less cup and saucer set by John Edwards & Co in the “Foliage” pattern (circa 1847-1873), featuring a garden scene with a towering castle in the background. The cup is 2 ¾ inches tall and 3 ½ inches across the top; the saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter. Condition is very good, with no damage. Light crazing and glaze pops, commensurate with age. Inside the cup there is a line in the glaze, which most likely occurred during production.

Presenting a beautiful brown transfer ware dinner plate in our favorite Aesthetic style, with a central design composed of magnolia tree leaves, surrounded by an outer band of sunflowers and an orange edge. Plate is 10 ½ inches in diameter and has a deep central well that is about 1 inch high. English Registry mark indicates this piece was produced in 1879. Condition is very good, light crazing on the underside of the plate.

A pair of Royal Doulton, England 12-sided plates dating to circa 1902-1922, in a lovely botanical motif. Each features different flowers in shades of yellow, green and rose, with lots of greenery, and a lacy border decorated with rose flowers and cobalt blue scrolls, with a dark green outer edge. Plates measure 8 3/8-inches and are marked with the Royal Doulton mark and Registry No. 597783, as well as the following handwritten numbers: D3313. Condition is very good, some crazing.
