Deauville Multi-strand Necklace and 3-Strand Bracelet Set

Fantastic vintage Deauville demi-parure with graduated translucent shimmering marbled beads of creme to milky chocolate and shades in between, all with flakes of iridescence for a deep shimmer. For contrast are goldtone filigree beads and aurora borealis beads. The larger beads are flanked by filigree end caps and all are spaced with gold beads. The four strand necklace is a choker, being 17", including the 3" extension of beads and hook clasp. The three strand bracelet measures 8", with fold-over locking clasp. Both bracelet and necklace are signed "Deauville". This set is in good wearable condition as is. However, the necklace appears to have been restrung. I say this because, se you can see in one picture, two of the strands have spacer beads at each end, one with one and one with two, whereas the other two strands do not. Also, one strand is just a little puckered, as if strung a tad too tight. As stated, it wears well as is, but in my opinion wears better with a twist, which might be why it was restrung. Also, the filigree balls look to have gold loss, but on this point I am not sure because the color difference looks to be uniformly centered on all of them and perhaps this is original. For these reasons, I have priced the set fairly low considering how fabulous these two pieces are!
