Pair of tumblers made 1940's or early 50's by Libbey Glass Co. with "Johnston & Murphy" Gold leaf logo. J&M are makers of fine shoes and have been shoemaker to the President of the United States for many Presidents. These are smoky tinted, fattening toward the bottom, and tapered pedestal base. Hold better than 12 oz. Marked "L" in circle for Libbey Glass on the bottom. Good condition, minimal wear of the logo. Fantastic drinking glasses for Johnstons, Murphys, or anyone that enjoys quality glassware.
