Fantastic c.1935-1940 garden sculpture by American artist, Ward Montague (1898-1987). Depicted here is the serene smile of Buddha, created for exhibition in one of the Outdoor Sculpture Shows of the late 1930's in NYC. Cement cast in good condition with no damage or restoration. Measure a monumental 17 inches tall; 12 inches ear to ear; 13 inches from nose to back of head. Signed at base in back "WARD MONT". Shiping price is $295.00 in continental US.
