Inspired by a 1993 Jeff MacNelly cartoon that appeared in The Chicago Tribune. MacNelly is probably most famous for creating the print cartoon comic strip, "Shoe". Depicted here is a sculptural realization of a MacNelly 2-D political cartoon. Hillary of Ark is cast as Don Quixote on a Democratic Donkey. On a cart placed before the horse sits a Republican elephant and Bill Clinton having his head examined by a very discouraged doctor. Ahead of them is an even more dicouraging and confusing signpost. The setting? The middle of a desert, of course, complete with sand, red skies and a cattle skull. This is an amazing piece, and a trophy for anyone who wishes Hillary would just go away.
