Here we present a strange and marvelous photo by accomplished Japanese/American photographer Susumu Sato. The artist is very well known in both commercial and fine art circles, with a career spanning more than 30 years. This image is from his "Harkonnen Chair" series. This object is the work of fantasy artist H. R. Giger: it as the mythical throne appearing in the movie classic "Dune". In this unique 1998 Artist's Proof, Sato stages a humorous and menacing scene with a Salvador Dali mannequin. Print measures 8 x 10 inches, piece is 15 x 17 inches total. Signed at bottom.
