Rubies are the national gemstone of India, said to represent enduring wedded love (and passion) and wealth, and in their purest state are so expensive that most of us cannot afford them. These are very affordable and genuine rubies.

This bracelet is similar to styles I saw in India. The rubies are translucent to semi-opaque, meaning that light will shine through them. They are a deep red with some bluish undertone. They are showcased with finely detailed and granulated 24kt. sterling vermeil rondelle and 4mm. faceted beads. They are spaced with faceted vermeil 4mm. beads. The double crimps on the ends of the bracelet are hidden by 14kt. gold-fill covers. The rondelle rubies, measuring from 6mm. to 9mm., are all faceted.

The bracelet closes with a 14kt. gold-fill lobster clasp and measures 6.75" long. In addition, it has a 24kt. sterling vermeil extension chain, so you can wear it up to 8.25" long, your preference. The chain is finished with a 5mm. gem ruby rondelle set in a vermeil filigree beadcap and worked on a granulated vermeil pin. The bracelet is accented with an 8mm. faceted ruby briolette.
