The pendants are lacy sterling filigree Celtic equal-armed crosses, intricately detailed, accented with 6mm. round beads of rare and lovely Connemara marble, framed with 4mm. round beads of green nephrite jade.
Connemara marble is found only in the west of Ireland, and is also known as the Irish national gemstone. It is becoming increasingly hard to find. These soft misty green beads are hand-drilled, and the color always reminds me of the green moss over weathered stone that I saw on ancient structures throughout the British Isles.
They measure a fraction under 1.25", not including the secure European leverback sterling earwires. Very romantic--and very Irish Medieval--earrings, my Lady!
All metals used are sterling silver, and all gemstones are genuine.
