Smoke and mirrors....the arts of the magician....shrouded in mystery, it never fails to fascinate and intrigue.....

This is the latest in my Smoke and Mirrors line, a very sexy and elegant bracelet that was crafted for the woman who loves a bit of mystery in her jewelry. The bracelet matches several of my Smoke & Mirrors earrings, also in my Ruby Lane store.

The bracelet features smoky quartz: a subtle, intriguing and mysterious quartz the color of smoke, that works perfectly with the black onyx and 24kt. sterling vermeil beads I've paired it with. Smoky quartz is a naturally occurring semi-precious gemstone, not lab created. The round beads are alternating faceted 6mm. smoky quartz and black onyx, spaced with finely granulated vermeil rondelles. This granulated beaded style originated with the ancient Etruscans and Romans, and was highly popular during the Renaissance, with its passion for all things classical.

The central granulated vermeil bead is 8mm. The smaller beads at the ends are 4mm. faceted smoky quartz and black onyx rondelles. The bracelet measures 6.75" long and closes with a vermeil lobster clasp. In addition, it has a vermeil extension chain, so you can choose your length from 6.75" to 8.25" long. The bracelet is accented with a 12mm. faceted full-round smoky quartz briolette, set in a granulated vermeil cone beadcap; and a 6mm. full-round black Austrian jet crystal faceted briolette. The ends of the bracelet are crimped and covered with 14kt. gold-fill covers.

The black and smoky colors make this a neutral-tone bracelet that will work with a variety of fashion colors. It has a very rich, Renaissance-looking influence in the design.
