Gargoyles are classically Medieval creatures, carved in stone on Cathedrals such as Notre Dame in Paris. They are said to ward off evil, but in historical fact, they were an effort to stamp out the still-widely held beliefs in the Old Religion.

These gorgeously detailed gargoyles could have flown directly from the roof of the classically Gothic Notre Dame onto this very romantic set! I've accented then with cognac quartz crystal (this is naturally occurring quartz crystal that is dyed) 10mm. faceted briolettes, complemented with perfectly matched cognac-colored Austrian Swarovski crystals. These are the finest crystals in the world, unsurpassed for their clarity and glitter. The 4mm. crystals are worked on sterling wire to sterling rolo chain.

The necklace hangs from an 18" sterling chain. The pendant part measures 2.25" including the sterling bail. The matching earrings measure 1.5" not including the wires, hang from extra long sterling French hooks and include rubber stoppers for security.
