This watercolor landscape painting by Francis Van Vreeland (1879-1954) is on watercolor paper and is signed by the artist. Vreeland was known mainly as a watercolorist. He worked in Hollywood from the 1920`s and mainly painted landscapes, figures and coastal views. I love the warm colors in this picture that really get set off if hung on wood but looks great on a painted wall also. I am pricing the shipping on this to send as the watercolor only but if you want it sent in the frame just let me know (the shipping will be quite a bit more obviously but no extra cost to have the frame). The back of the picture has penciled in 4594 10X14 7101. This may have been notes made by the framer. The actual size of the paper is 13.5 X 10.5. If you google this artist and the prices he commands, you will know this is a very good deal!
