This is a fabulous pair of vintage Mexican sterling silver earrings with carved obsidian Aztec masks. The beautiful Art Deco silver settings measure 1" x 1.25" and are stamped "Silver Mexico" on the back. This stamp was used on well made Mexican sterling silver jewelry from 1920 through the mid 1940's. The silver content on these pieces typically tests well above the .925 purity level. These earrings are screw backs and they are in mint condition! They were originally owned by a dear family friend before being passed down to my mother almost 20 years ago.
