This milk glass with hand painted accents covered rabbit dish measures 7 1/2" in length and 6" in width. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece is marked with the Westmoreland W under G mark in the inside center of the base. This rabbit dish came in both the beaded edge basket weave and lacy bottom. The bunny has hand painted accents sitting on a grass bed nest with colored eggs. Westmoreland Glass was made by the Westmoreland Glass Company of Grapeville, Pennsylvania from 1890 to 1984. The mark on this piece indicates it was made after 1940.
