SALE German Small Dollhouse Blonde Hair China Shoulder Head Doll

This small china head doll is 6 1/4" in height. Her clothes have been sewn on so we opted not to undress her for fear of damaging the antique clothing. The china shoulder head is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Her cloth body and bisque limbs appear to be original. The antique clothing is hand done and very well made albeit very fragile. There are several small tears to the dress and her underclothing. Her underclothes consist of pantaloons and a slip with wonderful needlework on the bottom of the slip in the front. There is soiling to the clothing and the cloth body. She has no markings to identify her maker but she is most likely of German origin. These dolls for dollhouses were very popular in the 1900's era. She would make an excellent display doll for a Victorian dollhouse.
