This textured seated rabbit candy container measures 6 1/4" in height. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This candy container is listed in the J. H. Millstein sample sheet as "Peter Rabbit". He originally came with a cardboard push in closure with the name of "Peter Rabbit" and the ingredients of the contents. The original factory marking was on the paper closure, later pieces had the name embossed on the bottom. Although we have seen a painted example of this candy container, Millstein records show this was shipped from the factory clear. This piece was made of heavy glass compared to the majority of candy containers.
