This cup and saucer commemorating the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The cups shows some wear to the upper silver trim on the rim. The cup measures 2 13/16" in height and 3 1/4" opening diameter with a decorative rose handle. The saucer is 5 3/8" in diameter. The bottom of both are marked "Paragon; By Appointment; Fine China; Made In England; Reg'd; Souvenir To Commemorate The Silver Jubilee of Their Majesties The King and Queen; Copyright". The cup features sepia portraits of the King and Queen. Their reign was soon to be cut short when King George V died suddenly in January of 1936.
