Fostoria American Crystal Whiskey Bar Shot Glass

This is a 2-oz Fostoria American whiskey shot glass. Measures 2 1/2" in height. Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks, repairs or scratches. Fostoria is one of the most well known and admired names in elegant glass. The American pattern was a favorite, if not the most popular, of the Fostoria factory in Moundsville, West Virginia from 1915 until March of 1986 when the factory closed. Phillip Ebeling designed and patented the American pattern which was introduced in the 1915 catalog as Line No. 2056, with 95 different items. This later expanded to some 340 pieces, plus colors, contracted and experimental pieces.
