This signed Lia Christmas tree rhinestone brooch measures 2 5/8" in height and 1 7/8" in width. It is in very good condition with no missing stones. It is signed "Lia" with the copyright symbol on the back on the tree trunk just under the pin clasp. Lia is the signature for the company Lianna, Inc. of Cranston, RI. They closed their doors in the early 2000's. The brooch has lovely golden leaves filled with clear, red and green rhinestones.

The berries are white plastic set in gold-tone branches. The back is stamped with the crown "Trifari" and the copyright symbol of a "c" inside a circle. This piece will make an excellent Christmas brooch!

It is marked on the back with "Sterling" and the "P & B" marks within heart shapes for the Paye & Baker firm from North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The clasp in the back is the old "c" clasp used in the early 1900's.

The center background appears to be mother-of-pearl with a very meticulously detailed flower basket and violet flower garlands adorning the sides. The frame is oxidized brass with beaded edging.
