This container has some red colored sugar crystals inside for the candy. This container appears in the 1930 Montgomery Ward & Co.-Fall-Winter issue catalog. The container is made of clear pressed glass, at one time this should have been painted, but there is no paint remaining. The container is approx. 5 1/2" tall with a diameter of about 2 1/2". This clear glass lantern candy container measures 4 1/2" in height. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This candy container was patented and produced by J H Millstein Co. The jeep measures approx. 4 1/4" long, 1 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" high. It is marked on both sides near the rear wheels, "JEEP"; top of hood has "WILLYS" (hard to read) with three raised lines on either side, and the bottom has "J.H. This clear glass telephone candy container measures 4 3/8" in height. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. the bottom metal closure is rusty but still intact. It has a black wood receiver hanging from a twisted wire holder and string attached for "telephone cord". One side of the base is marked "U.S.A." and the other with the logo monogram "V" over "G". This piece can be found in Butler Bros. catalogs from 1922 - 1932 and G. Sommers & Co. catalogs from 1925 - 1930.
