It has a black wood receiver hanging from a twisted wire holder and string attached for "telephone cord". One side of the base is marked "U.S.A." and the other with the logo monogram "V" over "G". This piece can be found in Butler Bros. catalogs from 1922 - 1932 and G. Sommers & Co. catalogs from 1925 - 1930.
