An expressive pair of bronze bookends with a bronze finish. These small bookends are approx. 4" tall and 3 1/2" wide. The bookends are solid metal, a magnet does not stick to them. This painted cast iron bottle opener measures 5 1/2" in height. He is in good condition with no chips, breaks or bends in the metal. He has aged paint, with some paint chipped and slight rust. He is marked on the perch "JW" and the copyright symbol. This parrot bottle opener was designed by Edward Musser and manufactured by the John Wright Co. The production years on this piece were from 1956 to 1988. Great modeling & colorful detail!

This unique brass butterfly paper clip measures 2 7/8" long and stands 1 1/2" in height. It is in very good condition. It is marked on the bottom with a copyright symbol and "Allied Brass". It is also embossed "Allied Brass" under the butterfly. The spring is strong and tight.

This Norwegian pewter match box holder measures 4 3/4" in length, 2 1/2" in width and 1 1/2" in height. It is in very good condition with no breaks in the metal. The inside cardboard match box is in fair condition, one side of the striker paper is intact but the opposite side is mostly gone. One side of the holder is incised "Hagness-Pewter // Norway". The rosemaling (Norwegian rose painting) design is in relief. The back side is covered with green felt to protect furniture.

This heavy tin ice cream tray measures 13" x 10 1/2". The tray is decorated with a lavish scene of eleven Kewpies busy making lemonade. The tray is in good condition but there is some soiling and paint rubs consistent with use. The tray is marked "Kewpie; Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. C.R.O.W.; The H.D. Beach Co. Coshocton, O." (Ohio) with the O'Neill signature on the lower left of the illustration. Great Kewpie display item!

This tin pail is marked on he bottom "Canco". It measures 3" in height not counting the handle. It is in good condition for its age but it does have some surface rust. This container was once filled with Lovell & Covel hard candies. The lithograph on the can is from the nursery rhyme "The Queen of Hearts Made Some Tarts". Most of the lithograph is intact with some surface scratches. The name "W. H. Laney" is stenciled on the lid. Great graphics!

A brass kewpie doll makes the handle of this table bell unique. The bell measures approx. 5 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter. The condition is very good but there are several surface nicks to the brass which appear to have happened during manufacture. the bell is heavy brass with a thick rim. This tin litho pencil box measures 7 7/8" in length and 2 1/8" in width. It is in good condition with no breaks in the metal. I does have some paint loss to the image of Charlie Chaplin and the box as well as a few dents. The image is signed by the artist "Henry Clive". The bottom of the box is embossed "Beautebox // Canco". The hinge is tight and in good working order.

This tiny tin pail measures just 1 7/8" in height. The tin is not marked by the manufacturer but was apparently and advertising item for a Daisy Queen dairy in New York. It is in very good condition with small areas of light surface rust and a few small paint scratches. The outside of the pail has a dark brown japanned finish. The pail has no dents on it or the lid.

This red vasculum with a gnome or elf pictured on the front pulling his dog pull-toy measures 4 1/2" in height, 5 3/4" in width and 3" deep. A vasculum is a container, usually of tin, used by botanists and school children to collect field samples. A moistened cloth lining the interior kept the samples viable by maintaining a cool humid environment.
