Shiny sterling silver wire embraces these red stone beads, making for some pretty earrings!

Known as "red jade" the stones are not true jade, but are a stone of similar consistency to white jade that has been dyed red. There is a certain translucence to the stone that allows some light to filter through.

The red colour of the stones provides a cheery background for the bright sterling silver wire that I have coiled around each bead, giving the earrings a bit of a funky look that dresses up and down.

The earrings hang 17mm (3/4 inches) from earwires I handcrafted out of sterling silver.
