Unique hand coiling makes these earrings really stand out!

The sterling silver wire coiling provides a horizontal bracket for 14mm ocean jasper rounds. The spiral wrapping loops upward to hang the earrings from earwires I handcrafted especially for these earrings. The earrings measure 20mm (3/4 inches) from the earwires. The jasper bead is further secured to the wire by a horizontal axle. These earrings certainly are different!

Ocean jasper is one of nature's most intriguing gemstones. A fairly recent discovery from northwest Madagascar, ocean jasper is recognized by rich hues and intriguing mottled textures, which can be seen in the photographs attached.

Ocean jasper is thought by some to be provide emotional release and healing, as well as to teach responsibility and patience.
