Harlequin ~ Black & White Shell Polyhedron Earrings with Onyx

The black & white harlequin pattern on these multi-sided beads is a dramatic eye catcher. These beads are large, measuring 17mm (almost 3/4 inches) in each direction, but because they are made of shell, they are incredibly light. They are simply accented with two 6mm black onyx round beads and wrapped on sterling silver wire for a total hanging length of 38mm (1-1/2 inches), excluding earwires.

Striking earrings like this call for bold earwires that complement but don't compete with the earrings themselves. I used sterling silver wire to create wider, rounder earwires that add another element of visual flair. If you prefer traditional earwires, these can be substituted at no additional charge.

These earrings will add drama to any outfit, from the little black dress, to a skirt and a tank top, to a turtleneck under a suit. They work all year round.
