The ornate Bali silver gives these earrings a distinctly exotic look and feel, and compliments the exquisite detail in the handcrafted boro lampwork by Condor Glass of Indiana. The deep blues and greens in this glass are patterned in a manner that draws your eyes right into the depth of the bead. I could stare at these beads for hours!

Borosilicate, or boro glass, is a very hard, strong glass that was introduced in the early 20th century by Corning Glass Works. Skilled artisans create stunning glass beads with this glass.

These earrings hang 25mm (1 inch) excluding the earwires. The 15mm beads sit lightly on a square base of Bali silver. They are topped off with Bali silver cones that lend the earrings that sultry far east look. As its name suggests, Bali silver comes from Indonesia, and has been oxidized to enhance its design elements.

The components are sturdily wired together in a manner that also allows form some movement between them, thus maintaining a nice flow as they hang. The wire and earwires are sterling silver. If you prefer leverbacks or traditional wires, these can be substituted at no extra charge.
