Exquisite cherry red, faceted garnet nuggets (average size 8 mm x 5 mm) are strung with olive green faceted freshwater pearls. From the 16" piece hangs a fantastic, sparkling vintage Swarovski chandelier crystal. The crystal has the Swarovski AB (aurora borealis) coating. The piece closes with one of my favorite clasps. It takes a bit of practice - but once you get it - you start requesting this clasp. The garnet in this piece is some of the finest I have every seen. It is a wonderful red and is so clear and beautifully faceted. (My photos are not doing this piece justice. The sparkle of the pendant makes it the stones appear dark. I'll keep trying!)
