Ancient - Fossilized Coral on an Adjustable Length of Leather

A special customer of mine has this pendant. She told me the other day that she had just returned from a two week adventure in Europe. Then she told me she had taken only ONE necklace... Ancient! "It goes with everything and can be dressed up or down!" "I knew I had the right necklace for every outfit!"

I found some more of this wonderful fossilized coral and decided to make another one of these fabulous and practical pieces.

An oval of fossilized coral (1 1/2" long) is topped with sterling and sits upon on of my heavy gauge sterling headpins. The pendant swings of a braid loop of sterling through which a length of Greek leather cord passes. The cord is a rich, deep chocolate brown. The cord is knotted in such way that full adjustment from 24" to choker is possible.

A black or tan cord may be substituted. Please just specify when ordering. The leather will arrive a bit stiff. However, as the piece is adjusted, handled and worn, the leather with soften.

Of note - this is piece is very unisex. Several of my male customers love their "Ancient" piece!
