a few words about me and about the jewelry...

I'm drawn to the rich colors and complex textures so prevalent in nature and especially, in the garden. I find my pieces moving toward the organic and unexpected...these themes reveal themselves in each Spoiled Girl piece. I don't believe in conventional color theory - so no color combination, stone pairing or technique is off-limits. It just has to look great.

I like the balance & serenity that comes from pattern-less chaos and movement like dangles, charms, and other moving parts. Colors and textures create harmony and timeless style.

My intense thirst for knowledge, fearless approach to learning new skills and an unconventional thought process keep my designs fresh and my skill set expanding. With the power of the Internet "copying" designs is a real frustration and challenge. One positive is that it is essential to keep creating... so get pieces when you see them.

In the dark of the night, you will see the lights on in my Wilmington, DE studio. I store the ideas I gather throughout the day and work deep into the night. I make each and every piece. My creativity is boosted by my two incredible daughters, my awesome & supportive husband, Roxy our lively Labrador & a collection of fish.
